I just finished watching the DVD of M Night Shyamalan's newest movie, Lady in the Water. I must say I found it to be really enjoyable. I loved the "bedtime story" feel of it. It really felt like a tale one might tell children to help them go to sleep. Has anyone here seen it? (I think this is a link to the trailer for those who haven't heard of it) : www.apple.com/trailers/wb/ladyinthewater/

That's out on DVD now?
That looked good, but I didn't get around to seeing it.

That movie was awful. A couple Asians telling a story to a janitor about big wolves made out of grass. Whoop-de-doo.

Well, his movies are usually pretty good.
I guess I'll see it anyways.

Pulse looks to me like one of those "slasher" films. I have no reason to waste my time or money having my eyes be invaded by some zombie bloodbath.

So, allow me to overview the "plot" of Pulse: A thing jumps out of a computer. It kills people. No one lives but 2 people

An hour and a half of a blurry ghost eating souls like popcorn.

I'm too lazy to read this whole thread, so I'm just going to offer my opinion. I rather enjoyed this movie. It's not my favorite of all time (THE PRESTIGE fills that place in my heart), but it is cute. I'll most likely use it for a date at some point.

Damn, I missed the Prestige in theaters.
I loved Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Anyone else seen that?

Who hasn't seen that? Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a classic.
As soon as The Prestige comes out, go buy it. It's amazing.

I haven't seen The Prestige, but I like the actors and actresses in it. Christian Bale is cool.

Ferris Bueller is the best movie ever made with the possible exception of LOTR.

LOTR was great, too.
